This page explains how to delete the data that Biznitos LTD holds about you, including anything obtained through Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp. Anyone can use this process. You do not need an account with us, and there is no charge.
Delete data linked to a Facebook or Instagram login
If you signed in to a site we operate using Facebook or Instagram, you can remove our access and delete what we hold in two steps.
Step 1: Remove our access from your Meta account
- Open Settings and privacy, then Settings, in the Facebook or Instagram app or on the web.
- Go to Apps and websites.
- Find the entry for the site or service you used.
- Select it and choose Remove.
- Tick the option to delete the posts, videos, or events the app published, if it is offered.
This stops any further access. On its own it does not delete what we already hold, so complete step 2 as well.
Step 2: Ask us to delete what we hold
Email [email protected] with the subject line Data deletion request, and include:
- The website or business you used, if you know it.
- The name and email address on the account, or the phone number if you messaged on WhatsApp.
- Whether you want everything deleted, or only some of it.
Send it from the email address on the record if you can, because that is the fastest way for us to verify you.
Delete other data we hold
The same email address handles every other kind of deletion request: form and enquiry submissions, newsletter subscriptions, member accounts on sites we host, and message history. Tell us what you want removed and we will handle it.
To stop marketing email without deleting anything, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any message we send.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your request, normally within 2 business days.
- We verify that the request is really from you, or from someone authorised to act for you. We may ask one follow-up question. We will not ask for a password.
- We locate your data across our systems and, where the data belongs to a business we work for, we tell that business and act on their instruction.
- We delete it and confirm in writing.
We complete verified requests within 30 days. If a request is unusually complex we will tell you inside that window and explain how much longer we need.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, contact details, and account record.
- Identifiers, tokens, and profile information we received from Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp.
- Form submissions, enquiries, and bookings you sent.
- Message content we hold from conversations on a connected channel.
- Files you uploaded.
- Analytics and event records that can be linked back to you.
What we may keep, and why
A small amount of data can survive a deletion request, and only for these reasons:
- Invoices and payment records, which accounting and tax law requires us to keep for 7 years.
- A suppression record, meaning your email address or phone number in a do-not-contact list, so that we do not contact you again by mistake. This is kept for your benefit.
- Records needed for a live legal claim or dispute, kept until it is resolved.
- Backups, which are not immediately editable. These expire on their normal cycle within 90 days, after which your data is gone from them too.
We tell you if any of this applies to your request.
If you are not satisfied
Reply to our decision and ask for it to be reviewed, and we will respond within 45 days. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you can also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, Colorado, Connecticut, or Virginia, you have appeal and complaint rights under your state law.
